I notice Ivan has released an upgraded version of his original Jessie loco

Judging by the number of hits the page about Jessie gets on my blog, it still seems to be a popular loco. I had problems with the gearbox on my original loco but I notice the latest version has an upgraded gearbox and four wheel drive.
I'd be interested if anyone decides to treat themselves to a kit for Christmas.

IP Engineering Jessie re-release
Re: IP Engineering Jessie re-release
I believe this iteration of Jessie was released a couple of years ago, and indeed I was tempted but managed to resist. Now if he were to re-release Jessica, my resolve might not be so strong...

Re: IP Engineering Jessie re-release
Jessica is a lovely engine, I am lucky enough to have one of the originals and the gearbox still works, for now, lol.

Re: IP Engineering Jessie re-release
I've always found the Jessie and the Jessica to be very nice-looking little diesels. In fact I think they are a more aesthetically consistent addition to a fleet of Roundhouse live steamers than Roundhouse's own diesels. Ivan got the look of this one right.
Having said that, as I am still operating on a circle of temporary track on my deck, I don't really need a diesel. Someday when I have a permanent railway, it might make more sense to have a diesel. I would definitely get an IP one. The price is very fair for such a nice-looking and mostly metal model.
