The Porter Garden Railway

Post by Porterhousemodels » Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:35 am

Good Morning,
Just realised I have been here for a little while kow but not posted anything about my garden railway!

The Porter Garden Railway is a SM32 railway started about 11 years ago.
The line has a mixture of stock from the Ffestiniog, Lynton and Barnstaple , Isle of Man and War Department railways.
Over time the railway has extended in length and is currently awaiting its winter maintenance as we haven't had much time to run in the second half of this year.
Below are some photos from running this year!

Hope.you enjoy.

Thanks for the pictures - it's a very attractive line!

Love the locos and stock too, of course...

A wonderful collection and beautiful rolling stock.
I'm curious to know where the Kerr Stuart Diesel kit is from?
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

I thought it looked familiar, and it turns out I'm already subscribed on YouTube! Great railway and (of course) great stock. Prince with the 43 car slate train was excellent.

A fantastic collection of locos and stock, that. Nice job!
Also quite like the low-set curved stone wall..
