GRS kit?
Anyone recognize this loco? LGB Toytrain motorblock. Could it be a GRS kit?

Re: GRS kit?
I'm currently restoring a 'Peckett' style loco which is certainly a GRS product. This has 'Garden Railway Specialists' written in full, moulded on the underside of the cab roof. It is constructed of a cast resin material and shows similarities to yours. The spectacle rings are cast on the cab sheets, cab roof has identical sliding cover, and the rivet heads are cast, not attached. The cab steps are white-metal.
If it has a MFA Como motor with reduction gearbox, then that could also be a clue?

That is basically a LGB 'Rusty' with the cab cut down/off.

It does have all the hallmarks of an early GRS kit. However, as Phil suggests the saddle tank does look a bit Rusty-like so it might be a scratch-bash. GRS kits generally were inspired by real prototypes - I'm not sure I recognise where this one might have originated.

Re: GRS kit?
The saddle tank is not from an LGB Rusty. Its made out of sheets.
The kit is badly assembled. Glue cant bridge the gaps and the parts dont line up. Hence smokebox and cab came apart for the chassis/frame. The Toytrain block is worn out. So the loco will be stored in the loft.
