Evening at the Pool End Garden Railway

Last night me, LMSjools and Pedro de Hooton of the SLR south went to Barrow for a small steamup at the Pool End Garden Railway, the line belonging to the former Mr NWAG, otherwise known as PGRDave. Here are some pics

Gwydion, which ran as impecabbly as ever despite some vicious grades and 30 inch radius curves.

FR Thunderbolt's Superior, which unfortunatly was not quite gauged correctly and kept derailng on one of the curves

I wonder who regauged that from 45 to 32 recently?!?! Trala-la-la-la-la-la-laa! Its not my fault accucraft got the dimples slightly wrong!

Wish i'd been able to make it, but unfortunately, of all nights I had to work til 10 instead of half 8, the night of a steam up would be it! Looks like you had fun! Great pics ratty!
