WOW!!!!! ...... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, half a million times! I find it hard to believe this thread has attracted so much attention and recorded over 500,000 views but I am so grateful to each and every one who has followed the development of the BURPS for the past ten years. I have learned so much from my colleagues here on the Forum and met several in person, it has been a real pleasure for me and I hope for readers too.
If you have time to join us it would be great to see your own garden railway projects, it costs nothing to become a member and we would love to greet you.

A while ago I mentioned building a PDF Models 'Double Fairlie' kit for Brian. I showed the finished body on page 176 of this thread before handing it to Alan to complete the power bogies and install RC, which he is much better qualified to do. After some time waiting for delivery of a receiver and rechargeable battery pack it was finished and ready for handover to our mutual friend Brian.

I think he looks pretty satisfied!

Then it was time to give 'Sir Brian' a run on Alan's garden railway, along with his, and my own, Bachmann Double Fairlies, so a tripple 'Double' was to be seen working their way around the line, and a wonderful sight it was too!...

I'm not sure but enquiries are underway.... I do know Cain Howley makes one so it may be from him, waiting for a response to the question.
This is on Cain's own railway......

With so much going on elsewhere and the after effects of lock-down, I have had little time, or interest, in getting to grips with the weeds which have taken over on my railway. At last I tackled the problem and spent many hours on hands and knees with trowel and bucket (and wheelbarrow!) to clear the mess.

Tomorrow I will take my assistant, 'Henry', for a trip around the line to clear the remaining debris from the track, and then..... run a train, for the first time this year I think?
