Ordering Peco products post Covid
Do any members have insider knowledge of the state of play at Peco? I ordered some track items in May from a well known mail order model shop. I've been told that they are still on back order. I understand that Peco were busy for a while making PPE items in connection with covid. I've not had any updates so I assume the situation is still the same.

I was told by one retailer that the die for producing rail joiners was broken and they were awaiting a repair. I'm afraid that's my only experience of ordering any of their products in the last 12 months or so.

I ordered two sets of points, one 4mm and one SM32; both on back order it seems. I tried to contact them using contact details on website. The email address didn't look like a proper email address. On the second phone attempt I was asked to leave a message. We'll see if they get back to me.

Seems from the other side of the world, I got lucky. I bought several packs of G45 joiners, and overall 15 sets of G45 points (some new, some used) through Roundhouse and Garden Railway Specialists, less than 3 months ago.
There was still plenty of garden gauge stuff left around at the time, I'd try the dealers.
