Totally and utterly off topic, which is why its in this board I suppose! LOL!

Whilst working on my latest Utoob vid I found this...

Now dont get me wrong, I love Lily Allen (though wouldnt date her...I really dont want a song written about me when we broke up!) but this is totally hideous!

On the plus side for you all, this track will not be appearing in ANY of my future YouTube vids!

And anyone who is eagerly awaiting my PTLRfest 09 vid, the wait is almost over! Stay tuned!

I have always maintained that any musician who does a cover of a song has no talent to write their own songs.

i.e. whoever it was recently with 'Just can't get enough'

Dreadful, don't know why she bothered trying, the original is always going to be unbeatable.

Some of the coves done for Radio 1's Live Lounge are an improvement 'Umberella' is the most notable, Avril Lavinge's version of Coldplay's Scientist is also very good but the original is inevitably better.

There is no denying that Lily is a great song writer, its just a shame she had to do the cover. It seemed a mystery why she did it, until I found this...

Oh my goodness, that is bad. Completely ruined a fab song.

I agree that not all covers are bad, Chesney Hawkes was performing at my University's May Ball and he did some covers that were just as good as the originals.
