Hot boiler with no water in it
Hello, I recently bought a new mss loco. I steamed it up to run it in. But i did not pay attention to the water level in the boiler and it got empty. At first glance the boiler itself seems okay, but the pipe for the steam is leaking. Do you know how I can fix that? Thank you for a risponse.

That would depend on where exactly it's leaking?

It leaked because, the O- ring and the metal ring on top of the pipe were inversed. After switching them, the leak was fixed.

Well done for fixing the loco! The correct order for these parts under the steam dome is O-ring, washer then spring.Christoph878 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 6:20 pm It leaked because, the O- ring and the metal ring on top of the pipe were inversed. After switching them, the leak was fixed.
