Anthracite coal grains UK supplier
Does anyone have recommendations for a supplier that delivers?
I need the grains to be between 5mm - 10mm

I think chuffed to bits may do.

Nothing on their website under fuel section from what I can see...

I got my last bag from my local coal merchant in Porthmadog. Anthracite grains are used in hopper-fed central heating boilers.

My implied suggestion was that you might be able to do the same with your local merchant. However, if you MUST have it delivered to your doorstep then I can tell you that my local coal merchant will only deliver within a 10-mile radius of his Porthmadog depot, and I collected from him, and he only charged me £5 for a big bag.
I am sorry I cannot be of more help at this time.

I tried some of this which was given to me but can't remember who by or what it is:
Broke up too much when in the fire and blocked the grate.

If you can wait a week I might be able to source some from the club. I think we may have a bag that was deemed too small for the ME scales.

Hallo Tom,
did You ever trie an acitivated carbon?
Here in Germany some guys tried it for coal fired locos with a very good success and less soot.
You get it in shops for aquaristik (filter) and as citchen extractor filter material. Even used carbon is good, perhaps better than new coals, for it has a fat content.

I hope it will be understood by using the translator.
Best wishes and a brilliant new year.
