Janet & Jane

Post by Gremlin » Sun Feb 08, 2009 9:28 pm

Hi
I've been playing with a couple of Mamods, which are fun.
What would I expect to pay for a secondhand Janet or Jane and are there any out there for sale?

cheers
DAve

Last S/H Jane I saw was £150, which I thought was quite a good price. I've just looked at that dealer's website and it's been sold. It would be worth e-mailing PPS Steam Models ( www.pps-steam-models.co.uk ) who currently produce Janet and ask for their second-hand list.

Dave,

I paid £180 for my Jane when I bought it at Merstham last year (http://simonking889.fotopic.net/p50636975.html).

It is my favourite to run in my fleet and it can haul a good load.

Thanks guys but no joy with IP or PPS.
I was going to get a MSS but as I already have 2 Mamods I thought it might be better to get something slightly better.
I'm not in a hurry but if you see one, give me a nod.

cheers
Dave
