Just had my Summerland's chuff pipe SCRH1 delivered today and noticed my loco a roundhouse Millie that I bought a few weeks ago doesn't have twin chimney pipes, but a single chuff pipe fitted.

Re: Roundhouse Millie chuff pipe
SCGP1 is the single exhaust variant but contact Chris as he will be happy to help.
Re: Roundhouse Millie chuff pipe
If you recently bought the loco brand new, it looks like Roundhouse have fitted it with one of their exhaust enhancers.....chris w wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 3:04 am Just had my Summerland's chuff pipe SCRH1 delivered today and noticed my loco a roundhouse Millie that I bought a few weeks ago doesn't have twin chimney pipes, but a single chuff pipe fitted.

Have you steamed it yet? You may find the exhaust sound is loud enough that you don't need to replace it with a Chuffer.
Regards,
Graeme

Hi no not steamed it yet, but have got the rolling road and I have fitted a pressure gauge.
will give it a steam and see if it produces a half decent chuff.

I didn't look at the photo properly.
Graeme is right, your loco has a Roundhouse exhaust enhancer so I would not bother with the chuffer unless you want the benefit of the Summerlands FX Control.
Older Millie locos have twin exhausts so the chuffer you have is correct.

Re: Roundhouse Millie chuff pipe
My Millie has the RH enhancer fitted - makes a great sound, especially when working hard with a load or working up hill!
Where did I put that uncoupler?
Re: Roundhouse Millie chuff pipe
Tested the loco today and all's well.
pressure gauge works fine
and a good chuff from loco, mine reaches 38psi then the safety valves starts to slightly smoke.

That's fine Chris, the safety valve for Roundhouse locos blow off fully at 40 PSI.
