Great to see you have a running line again. Look forward to seeing it develop.

Excellent work. I could use a son-in-law! Must see about getting one. You have somewhere to run trains now Rod. Looks great so far.

You make that sound so easy..... I have two grown-up sons but no in-laws. My elder son would only be keen on one who was heiress to a brewery and had her own fleet of vintage tractors, which she restored and maintained herself.... see, easy!

Re: REBIRTH OF FWLR
Thanks for your replies guys. It was a case of getting someone to do most of it for me, or us not having one finished until at least the end of the year, possibly even longer. But on the health side I am feeling positive, just need to take my time and rest every now and again.
But I can always askβ¦.

It wasnβt that easy to get the Son-in-law Peter, honest. Anne had to bribe him with offers of Budβs and plenty of Burgersβ¦Peter Butler wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 9:44 pm You make that sound so easy..... I have two grown-up sons but no in-laws. I am now doing mostly rolling stock and building, but hopefully I can get to run something and maybe do some more on the track it self Graham.Gralyn wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 1:29 pm Great to see you have a running line again. Look forward to seeing it develop.
Unfortunately Derek, he has now gone back abroad with his cycling job until the end of September and then he plans on having a holiday with his family.bazzer42 wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 5:20 pm Son in law has done a good job, could he do my decking replacement?![]()

Well, I am so thankful to the Son-in-Law Rik, otherwise we wouldnβt have been able to do a lot on it without his help.ge_rik wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 6:40 pm You've not wasted any time, Rod. Looks like you're up and running already.

Always tongue in cheek Rod, reckon I'll get by! Got a train fix yesterday as we trudged up a cloudy Snowdon, actually getting the train tomorrow but not building my hopes up to see anything....again...FWLR wrote: Tue Aug 14, 2018 8:52 am
