North Avenue Line
Re: North Avenue Line
all the names on the line are based on real places .bartlow south .is a reference to bartlow a small village near castle camps where I grew up it had a railway running threw it but sadly not anymore. south deans is from the caravan park where my mum and dad used to holiday in great Yarmouth .the MXP part of the gas works is from one of the company's on the business park where I do a lot of work although they are nothing to do with gas I just liked the look of the MXP lettering
Re: North Avenue Line

Re: North Avenue Line
the north avenue railway .is a line that has fallen on hard times this is why iv made everything look old and worn out. most of the industry's that once flushed on the railway have gone. and maintenance hasn't been kept up with in recent years. one last tired loco runs at present taking on what ever loads it can .a lot of the lines scrap that litters the line is from the old coal mine and is now waiting to be taken to the scrap merchant .

Re: North Avenue Line
I do love your collection of 'stuff' Jim, it all works together so well..... very artistic!
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?
Re: North Avenue Line
Plenty of rust there Jim Can't have too much rust I say.
Re: North Avenue Line
Hope you can upload a video soon Jim, I think we are all waiting in anticipation to see a train running on it.

Re: North Avenue Line
Gives a whole new perspective to 'landscaping' - really convincing. After all, the majority of narrow gauge railways in this country were originally industrial. Is the new section going to be rural or industrial?
