Mamod Boulton arrives on the CVLR
Mamod Boulton arrives on the CVLR
This turned up under my tree Christmas Day; a Mamod Boulton. Love the chunky looks and first impressions on track are very favourable with smooth slow running and impressive pulling power. After super detailing, de-brassing, repainting the buffer beams red, weathering and the addition of RC I'll be very happy to add it to the stud of steamers on my, as yet uncompleted, West Dorset Line. (And this one's nice and quiet).

That's quite a looked, first I've seen as a buy and sounds like value for money.

Could you post a video of it's running please?
Interested to see how smoothly it accelerates and slows down to a stop.

I had a little look at one at the Llanfair show and I was quite impressed. Much better than socks and smellys as a Christmas present.
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!

I'll be more than happy to when I get the RC fitted.tom_tom_go wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 8:03 pm Could you post a video of it's running please?

Great little engine, and a nice start for some kitbashing too.
