Aces travels and steam ups

Post by ace » Mon May 01, 2017 9:32 am

I have to apologise for my neglect on this forum, life and general business gets in the way sometimes, and with the convenience of facebook, it is easy to forget your roots sometimes.

I have made many videos in the past 12 months of where I've been and what I have been up to. I shall pop them on this thread ad I publish them for all to see.

Here is another video form another great line I visited (in a break in weather!) A good friend Jim ('Jim from devon' on here)had been building his garden railway last year and after multiple pesterings (is that even a word? lol) I managed to elbow my way into his garden and play trains for the afternoon.

The days wasn't without its incidents, but was a great laugh and have even been invited (this time) to come back!

That Accucraft Decauville runs nicely at a scale speed, I like it.

Here is another video of a visit to Pauly's line last October, a little late! I noticed that this video was not ever made public when I published.

Thanks. :)

For those of you who prefer the slower things in life, at the same time I filmed a nice selection of Regners pottering about at Pauly's.

Some very scenic parts on that railway, the two curving tracks under the trees and the long cutting through the MYOB. Nicely shot.

Thanks for the feedback guys. :)

Filmed at my local club, some friends from the Guildford Model Engineering Society came to join us the following day after the Eeter show. They brought along their Darjeeling A class, coal fired B class and a couple of member ran their darj trains also.
