Autumn pictures
Ahh, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
Do any of us have some nice autumnal pics they would like to share?

Hi Jim
My garden isn't looking that Autumnal at the moment, but I had a running session yesterday with my NZ visitor and tinkered with one of the shots to give it an Autumnal feel. Ahhhh, the wonders of digital photography. Rik

That is a lovely picture Rik, it would make a nice card... (almost included the dreaded word, Christmas!)

Re: Autumn pictures
Lovely picture Rik. I agree with Peter, it does have that 'end of the year' feel.
My terminus station site looks very much like Phillip's at the moment, I always knew that siting it under the creeper was an issue!

Hi,
last weekend we tested our DJ`s, if they are monsoon suitable.
We think they did demonstrate their water proofness in Bavaria.

Crisp Autumn day here, if it wasn't for work I could think of better things to do...

Re: Autumn pictures
Great pictures, particularly the last one where you can see the driver and the glow of the cab light.

I must get some more colourful autumnal plants. Most of mine are evergreen.

Wow, there are some nice and atmospheric shots here so far. I must get around to building a railway.

Re: Autumn pictures
All those fallen leaves but no evidence of 'leaves on the line'. Maybe you can sell your secret to Network Rail !
Re: Autumn pictures
Those Acers look great - mine have already lost their leaves in the recent chill in the South east (reaches for his scarf)
Where did I put that uncoupler?
Re: Autumn pictures
Very atmospheric. I pity the poor chap sat on that cold rock, that does not bode well for long term happiness. Still at least his troubles will be behind him

Re: Autumn pictures
I cleaned the leaves manually during the weekend. There are 3 large trees in the area, they provided excellent shade during hot Summer time but in the Autumn, we have to clean the leaves every weekend. In the past, I used a blower but I found my figures also disappeared because of that.invicta280 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 9:00 am All those fallen leaves but no evidence of 'leaves on the line'.
