Back again

Post by Big Jim » Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:40 am

Sorry I have been a bit quiet for a week or two. Settling into a new parish was supposed to be nice and easy. Unfortunately I have had to hit the ground running. Still things have gone a little quieter at the moment so with a bit of luck the shed will be rebuilt soon and I can get my stuff out of boxes.
I have managed a little steam up at Pembrey country park with the Llanelli model engineers. There is a very small and basic 16mm line there and no one to play with it.
If anyone is on holiday down this neck of the woods (llanelli) please drop me a line if you fancy a cuppa and possibly a steam up at the club track.
If you are at Llanfair show on Saturday and see a large bloke in a clerical collar with an excitable small child in tow, it will probably be me, please say hello as it would be nice to put a face to the user name. :D
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!

Welcome back Jim. Good to see that you have got some steaming in, a break from the no doubt busy time of the move. Apologies can't be certain at the moment but I may be at Llanfair with my son and if I am I will certainly look out for you to say hello.

Dave
