Dogs and Garden Railways
Peter Butler in his response to my topic "Overhead wiring for garden railway trams" says that his dogs would tear my tramway to bits. Perhaps he should have Bulldogs whose only interest in garden railways are that they provide further opportunities to pose around showing off their strange ethereal beauty to visitors.
Except for Buck who treats the whole dubious affair with high suspicion.
Meet "Bubbles," "Blossom" and of course "Buck"
These attached photos say it all.

I don't wish to lower the tone of the conversation.
My golden retriever walks/patrols the ground level main line most days. Says a lot for Peco SM32 but its not often that i have to do any adjustments as a result.
One problem is when he has loose bowels he tends to do his business where the pointwork is most complicated. I find getting down on my knees and using a toothpick is an ideal tool for this.

Thank goodness my line operates 3 ft off the ground!
Only the terrier is adept at getting onto the line via poorly positioned decking furniture - and thats usually chasing next doors cat - one station fence panel alway seems to suffer - but apart from that, not had poo on the line
However, when it comes to roosting birds ............
