Snow problem - evidence a Plough is needed

After the recent small snowfall, CHLR had a few drifts - see the images below

So the motive power dept, without a plough - were called in - the video below documents their efforts!

Where did I put that uncoupler?

Unfortunately snow clearing is probably something I'll never have to do, pity! as it always looks like fun.

Trouble was it wasn't fresh snow, which shifts much more easily. That was frozen snow, which is a lot harder to shift (as the film showed).

Yes, if the General Manager had got out of bed earlier, it might not been as icy! :oops:
