Andy, in one video, you say u cant use the new filler - no bottle. You could buy one (!) OR just use a everyday syringe.

For filler bottles, I have used Ajax window cleaner bottles (or similar product) that have a pump. You need two to make one ! That is to say, you will need the tube from the pump of one of them to fit into the nozzle of the bottle you use as a filler. The nozzle may need some careful drilling to fit the pipe in it. Drill the hole smaller than the tube diameter so that the tube can be push fitted into the nozzle. Hey presto a filler bottle that fits Goodal valves.
If water sprays out of the top up valve, then sand the end of the tube to a slightly rounded shape. If is leaks where it is fitted into the nozzle, this can be fixed by removing the tube, drying the tube and nozzle and applying a little epoxy around the tube where it fits in the nozzle.

As an addition to the cars and pollution comments made in this thread, after watching the news tonight, about the climate talks, the thought struck me, "Oops !I am not helping the planet by building a model coal fired loco" :( . I wonder if the EU will force me to buy a CO2 quota :o
John.
