Using pads on Deltang Receivers

Post by ge_rik » Sun Oct 25, 2015 2:59 pm

I know some are a little uncertain about making use of the pads on Deltang receivers, so I thought I'd put together an article on my blog outlining my experiences. I've assumed that most people would prefer not to get embroiled in reprogramming and so have tried to show how the pads on the Rx60 and Rx65b can be used without being reprogrammed for - directional lighting, interior lighting and triggering effects on soundcards.

There's also an accompanying article showing how I trigger the effects on a MyLocoSound card with a standard Rx65b

Very useful Rik, thank you.
Now the long nights are here, I intend getting to grips with running accessories from the receivers.
