Flat Wagon
Flat Wagon
It would appear that i'm becomming a Phil Sharples Kit Junkie! Oh well i suppose there are worse things to be addicted to
This is his basic Flat Wagon Kit. Fortunately the chassis parts are similar in dimensions to his Coal Wagon Kit and fitted into the jig i built for that wagon nicely.
The full build will be covered on my website here http://www.alspcs.com/PSBFlat.html

I don't suppose it matters which way you do it Brian. I built the chassis first and put the verticals in afterwards.
With my Coal Wagons i found that aligning the rivet detail on the verticals with the centre of the planks meant
that the verticals didn't reach the bottom layer. I also had 8 to do and just thought the jig would make life easier
