Mamod loco Plans
I want to build a Mamod Are there any plans available showing the basic dimensions and outline of the classic Mamod loco?
Best wishes,

Now that's a first, I've never known anyone who wants to build one from scratch before. I doubt there are any plans as such, the original locomotive design still being in production by MSS. I have got some basic CAD drawings I did for the kids at work to colour in if they would be of use ?

Build your own Mamod...basically, build your own Janet. Fantastic However a couple of tweaks I'd think of, but alas have not the facilities or competency:
1)Steampipe to reverser block joint - a thread or a grip to prevent this from being pushfit only and slipping out/moving back in the rev block
2)Cylinders - for an 0-4-0, have longer pistons so the cylinders power the rear axle a la Locobox?
