Thanks for the feedback chaps. Never sure whether my videos are a bit too long and boring, so I try to keep changing the format and vary the camera views.
There's a Peter Spoerer / MK Tronics Digisounds card in the diesel and I use MyLocosound cards in the steam outline locos. The latest MyLocoSound 'Universal' card is very good. The settings such as synching the beat with the wheels can be set on the fly using an IR remote control.

Hi Rik,
As inspirational as ever - thank you. It's nice to see a railway being operated. There's nothing wrong with just running trains but, as we've said before, it's the running of a railway that makes it for others of us. This is a shining example of the latter.
At a time when my efforts are devoted to wall building, and that only indirectly for the railway, it's nice to find things like this as a reminder of what can be achieved through vision and persistent effort.
All the best,
Andrew

Thanks for that. I have to admit that it is the operational side which interests me the most - though on some warm summer evenings (remember those?), I am quite happy to just sit and watch a train meandering its way around the garden. I'm thinking I might even program one Rx65b-equipped loco with auto-station-stop and have it pausing at the through stations as it chuffs around on its own.
