GMES SMSEG (Railway pics)

Post by MTA » Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:38 pm

My camera batteries were running flat, so I just managed to get these pics.

Andy uses a rather large oil can

My IP Jane at speed

OK, so we posed this one  Paul's SL1K (which runs beautifully) next to Jane.

We posed this one too  Andy's very nicely modified Edrig next to Jane on the lower level. Andy said that my Jane doesn't stall (which she didn't do anywhere on the line) on the hills like his Edrig. 1-0 to the oscillators!

:sign5: That is MASSIVE oil can!!!

Anyway, I doubt that very much about the janet, probably just running too fast so the momentum keeps it going... Andy does run his slowly!

Actually, the Jane was running at a steady pace. Not the 100mph of an unmodified Mamod which many people use as the basis for their comments....

My Edrig wouldn't stall it's just Andy's that is knackered   :P  ;) .

Nice Pics! I like the lighting on the first Ossy line up and the way you've used night mode to show up the steam.
