John Prescott Loco's

Post by alan2525 » Fri Oct 17, 2008 10:38 pm

OK - NOT THAT John Prescott...former deputy PM...

John Prescott the builder of the wonderful little 16mm Garden Railway Locos.

Has anyone had experience of these, if they run as well as they look they should run like a charm. I'm really getting into the smaller garden loco's trying to get away from the likes of Roundhouse and Accurcraft who seem to see 16mm:1ft as a challenge rather than a scale.

I rather like them too, Wagtail is appealing to me... but I would have thought you'd have to wait a long time for one.

I was looking at the homebuilder parts - the boiler is reasonable price too and the accessory parts look like good value.

I'm not sure what cylinders they use though, maybe roundhouse?

I would hazard a guess that the cylinders are his design, they deffinatley aren't Roundhouse.
