trouble uploading pictures

im trying to upload a few pictures on here but once ive selected my image it says "upload" i click this but nothing happens. what am i doing wrong?

The image size is probably too large.

It is easier to use a free photo sharing site such as photobucket.

right ive got photobucket set up ..... next question is how do i get the link onto here? sorry to be a pain im abit new to this

I edit my pics and scale them down too 50 percent then they upload fine

If you open the picture in Windows Live Photo Gallery, or pretty much any photo software, it will give you an option to resize the picture.
In Windows Live P G, click on the Edit tab and at the top there are various options including Resize ( it will be greyed out until you click the picture you want to work on).. Choose the 640 size and save it. When you go to upload it it should with any luck simply go ( be warned you do ahve to wait a little while for the board to respond though).
