Work goes on ready for first public trials, with coaches fixed to the trucks, who now have my usual picture rings for couplings.
The Guards van now has window boxes with flowers off small pegs froma craft shop...the pugs are being used by the family for other things. the is also a wood burner and chimney. The burner is a small upside down hotel shapoo bottle painted black. the top is going on to the 3rd class coach as the air vent (pictures to follow).
Work is on going with fitting out the cab, but I think I will have to re do some bits of hide with weathering due to shakey glue hand...and the throttle? (brains gone dead) needs a better handle.
Also the local Dolls house shop has been raided for fittings ie. kettle, bucket and shovel.....I just hope the loco will have enough power to pull on the track......we will see tomorrow.

Shouldn't think it will be a problem Dave, those Battery 4f's are quite powerful, the few I used to have could manage 3 mk1 coaches with no problem.

Coach and loco look great.

Yep it sure does Jim...great fun

I've been playing trains this afternoon and trying out my new iPad...so sorry for the terrible video, but Reece the Emett loco worked well.
Still much to do but he runs!

Clever stuff Dave..... I bet they don't know what hit them when Reece arrived on the scene?
Best in show!
You obviously have more time on your hands. Keep it up.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?
