Elderly gents and garden railways in the ground

Post by andymctractor » Tue May 27, 2014 10:31 am

Hi, I understand why many guys prefer their railway on stilts or raised up. Mine however is wholly in the ground and some understandably have some slight problems when visiting me.
Quite by chance I recently came across a British Railway Modelling video of an indoor OO layout and I thought of old knees and backs straining on an operating day. Take a look.

Sometimes models are an evolution and not a plan. Great fun.
