G Code to stl converter

Post by GAP » Sun Jun 04, 2023 2:02 am

I recently made a coal load for my rake of hoppers but when I printed it I found gaps around the edge.
Unfortunately I did not save the stl file I had used and only had the G Code file.
I found this converter online and have since used it to convert the G Code back to an stl, edit it in Tinkercad and this time I saved it.
This is the link to the site I used I just imported the G Code and went from there.

Thanks Graeme, could be very useful.

On a similar subject, this is a program I have occasionally found useful, it reconstructs a G-Code file layer by layer so you can see whats happening on the printer:

You can open a gcode file in Cura and see it layer by layer.
