Thanks Steve. I'm only scratching the surface of what's achievable. You only have to look at the gallery to see what some people have produced. For example ....

I have updated the pictures of the original post as most people could not see them. :thumbup:

I have actually printed a few of these off now and made design improvements along the way. I shall post some pictures up of the changes later today hopefully.

Sorry I can't share that one as I am selling it commercially as it took weeks to design, test, redesign etc. I do sell the the complete kits but not the files. :(

Oh well never mind...I thought I could have a go at printing a loco and see how I got on with it....Back to fumbling along with 3d printing then.... :(

Thingiverse has a 3D printable loco on it, various versions and modifications have been done to it as well, just download them and print away, that's all I did at first. That one is far simpler to print and build than mine :thumbup:

Dunno if it's any good and it seems to be a weird scale (18mm gauge) but if you want to play about with the scale and design a proper chassis it might be ok.
