Looking good!

I particularly like the Donegal van, it looks just right...

Impressive, Rik. Apologies, I am sure you've given this info elsewhere somewhere, but what nozzle size and material are you using?

Those are some really nice models, I especially like the springs.

Have you tried turning on Monotonic Ordering? It might help with the diagonal lines you see where the top infill is broken by an island sticking out of it. It just reorders the lines so they are always progressing in one direction across the layer, barely affects print time but helps with that sort of minor issue.

Not tried that. TBH, I didn't know what it did or what it might cure. I'll give it a try on the next job.

No, I'd never come across it before either ( Thanks Richard).
It definately seems to work though :D

Just a simple test.... an 8 x 5.5 x 70mm pcb stand-off that I'm printing for a friend. The one on the left is 'standard' and the one on the right is with ironing and monotonic on. The top surface difference is amazing.

The latest batch of 30s/40s figures from Dean. I've replaced a couple of the very fine, flimsy parts (gun barrel and oil can nozzle) with brass rod as I know what will happen once I start using them

That looks remarkably like Pte. Godfrey - but he never held a gun, surely?🤔

Rik, are your friends posing in costume and position if their own choosing or is this for your benefit?

A bit of both. I told them to imagine they were waiting for a train or in conversation on the platform. I think you can tell that we are thespians, though ...
