The old 0-6-0 is a reliable veteran. Here waiting for a clear signal at Melaleuca. An auxiliary water gin is behind the tender for the long dry trip ahead.

Semi-scale Bulleid tank engine, caught squeaking around the shrubbery (further lubrication required).
Truth be told I’ve brightened this one a bit so it may not be eligible for any prize giving. Probably too many weeds too.

And here’s a picture of the cat that meets the brief (though not a gallery entry), shot through the window on an iPhone and therefore not too sharp.
Why do they do this? It can’t be any heat in the rails (it wasn’t a particularly nice day). But it’s another of the seemingly umpteen reasons that the ballast continues to get spread across the garden.

Thanks Bertie, nice picture. I think we can allow a little brightness as long as thats all. :D

Also gives me an opportunity to remind everyone that there is only a month to go to closing date - 15th September.

Taw and Lyn pull away from St Just on a double headed service at the 'West Cornwall Light Railway'.

The track behind the train swoops away towards the 'Newlyn' end of the line.

Credit to Peter and Bruce Dawes for the location and Tony Rodwell for the first 3 coaches and Lyn.

Missed this sorry. Some really great photos though on some brilliant lines.
