Thanks Rik.

Have to admit it was a staged photo purely for the competition. I thought we needed a few more entries
That is exactly the same for me, just that my staged scene was less inspired than yours!
Seriously, would everyone who reads this, please
read my POLL thread and vote!

Well, for Sept 2021 it a dead heat between BWLR and Old Man Aaron.
Well done to both of you. Both worthy winners, but so were several of the the others IMO, it was difficult deciding which to vote for.
Anyway, we need you two to propose the theme for the next quarter. Could you PM me with your suggestions in the next few days please?

Agreed, difficult to choose this time from many high standard potential winners.

Cheers, gents! Agreed, it was very hard to choose just one picture to vote for. I've sent you a message, Phil.

I'm afraid that I have to declare myself as the winner of the March 2022 gallery on the theme of "Signalling".
Thanks to all who voted, I think we had a higher than normal response this time and also thanks to all who entrered.
The winning picture is:

I'm racking my brain cell for the next theme, which I'll put up in the next few days.

A worthy winner
Agreed! Congratulations!
If you want any ideas for the next theme, how about "garden railways in South Bristol in sore need of some TLC"?

One way of making sure who wins, I guess!
I confess that I am struggling for an idea though, so you never know your luck.

OK folks, the winner of the June Gallery is a dead heat between Lonsdaler and SteamGeorge, both with 5 votes - congratulations chaps. The voting was quite close with one on 4 votes and three with 3 votes each, so thanks to everyone who entered and all those who voted.
So could I ask Phil and George to PM me with their suggested themes for the next Gallery over the next week or so, please?

I found it difficult to choose this time but I did vote for one of the eventual winners... not saying which one! Congratulations to both.

Sorry, chaps but I'm afraid that I have to declare myself the winner this quarter, with "

When I've managed to think up a theme for the next one, I'll drop myself a PM and post the result.

I can't fault that as a winning picture. The competition was strong and well supported so the choices made difficult. Congratulations Philip, lovely picture.
