Garden Railway Gallery, Winners Thread
Re: Garden Railway Gallery, Winners Thread
A worthy winner. Congratulations.
So, you have to decide on the theme for the next round.
Rik
PS Oops, just seen you've done exactly that.

Re: Garden Railway Gallery, Winners Thread
Theme for the March 2020 would be:
«Winter on the Garden Railway»
There is a few weeks left of the winter. Hopefully there be some white days before end of March 2020.
And if not - you may have some pictures taken in previous winters.

The winner of the March 2020 Gallery is ....
Steamgeorge with his "Deserted siding on the WDLR"
Well done George, well deserved in my opinion. Please let me have a theme for the June Gallery asap.

...and the worthy winner of the June 2020 gallery is, by a large margin, Ge_Rik with his "Inside Peckforton Sawmill" picture.
Well done Rik, now we need you to choose the theme for the September quarter, please.

Had to be the winner, it's brilliant.
Though think Rik needs to let someone else win now and again. He could end up like those football clubs that monopolise the leagues and silverware...

Congratulations to Rik for a superb model and an excellent photograph. I had no doubt it would score well, hats off to all who competed, we live in hope!

Actually Peter, I was thinking that perhaps you would have entered a shot of your dockside/harbour, which I think could have given Rik a run for his money.

Re: Garden Railway Gallery, Winners Thread
Thanks Philip, I thought I should give Rik a chance..... My mind works in strange ways (as everyone knows) so I saw an opportunity to include the current lock-down situation, perhaps as cartoonists interpret the world?

And a cracking idea it was too Peter. I was torn between Rik's entry and yours. You were an extremely close second in my eyes.

Thank you Andrew for appreciating my sense of humour. There are two others out there too as I didn't vote for myself!

Congratulations Rik - a worthy winner. It is encouraging to try and aspire to your level of expertise, both in terms of modelling and photography.
