Hello, here is a quick video tutorial on fitting chuffers to mamods

Additional notes:

If the locomotive has been used alot, the smokebox may have partially fused to the chassis/body and will be very difficult to remove
you may need to take a small flathead screwdriver and gently jam it inbetween the smokebox and chassis/body with a bit of cloth inbetween to prevent the paint from being scratched.

If you want to fit the smokebox back into the body with the chuffer already in place, you can drill the hole a bit larger with a 8mm drill bit. i did not do this as i did not have one.

Annoying cat optional.

Thanks for taking the time to make the video.

I have moved this topic into the Mamod & MSS forum.

Well done! That's one of the most entertaining 'mod' videos I've seen in a while - and well done for leaving the fail in too!
The sound running is worthwhile too - probably even better running with a train rather than light engine
