Low profile shop terrace made from Kippo shop fronts

Post by andymctractor » Sat Nov 06, 2021 2:08 pm

Four shop fronts from Kippo models used to make low profile shop terrace against the gravel board at the back of Crowfoot Station. The other buildings not shown in this photo.

They look good! I'm not familiar with Kippo - but it certainly warrants further investigation

I’ve built a number of Kippo models including these low profile terraced houses. The single storey post office was the result of me dropping and breaking the model during construction.

Those do look good. I'd never heard of Kippo before either but they have some nice looking stuff on their website, pity its 1:22.5 though.

They look great, Andy. I think the single-storey post office gives the terrace more character.

My railway is freelance and provided things look ok then I will use them. Not had a problem with these 1:22 models. Take a look at another Kippo 1:22 station building with some well known accessories.

Next photo is more low profile terrace with a 1:16 Bruder digger. The prototype for the digger is quite small so the scale isn’t too much of an issue for me.
