New product - 16mm/ft figures
Had a mad moment today and bought a January 2016 Railway Modeller. On page 83 is mention of a planned release of Bachmann Scenecraft figures. Available in first quarter of 2016 are two pairs of figures. There will be a loco crew (driver and fireman) or station staff (station master and porter). At £24:95 a pair of figures they are not cheap but I imagine, as they are Bachmann, they will be reasonable quality. Further sets are planned in due course.

Compared to what is currently on offer they look quite normal...

The snippet in the RM mentions a 'new range of Scenecraft figures for 16mm scale to complement existing 16mm locomotives and rolling stock'. Apparently there are only going to be two pairs of figures initially and more later. With the G scale figures already available I'm hoping I'm not being a little naive in thinking they may be making some slightly larger figures for 16 mil. Or maybe they sell the G scale ones re packaged for 16 mm as shorter chappies!!!tom_tom_go:114726 wrote:Is this it?

They look good...
Looking at the G scale examples and assuming a similar standard of finish, I think I might be tempted to repaint them.
