Decauville Catalogue - English

Post by Harris0169 » Fri May 05, 2023 12:00 pm

Just to add to the O&K and Hudson catalogues posted by Annie, here is a Decauville one:

From the Swedish Railway Museum Digital Archive

Thanks very much for this. There is certainly an awful lot in there. I had no idea they produced such a comprehensive range of equipment. Even on a quick flick through I spotted, f'rinstance, horse harness!

So much inspiration!

I fear if Peter B looks he'll start building at page one and not stop until he's made everything in the catalogue...

I particularly like the "Type 34B barrel wagon", and some of the other specialist wagons, plus the inspection cars...

Perhaps not quite from page one, but there are a few items in there which could easily be added to the BURPS collection.....

Great resource! Plenty of inspirational stuff in there. Some of those wagons look very flimsy.

Thanks for posting this. A real treasure trove.

Anybody else notice, at the bottom of the loco specs, it claims that all their locos can be converted to "lampant petrol". I was a bit shocked and wondered why anyone would attempt to fire a loco on petrol - then I looked up the definition of "Lampant".
It means Lamp Oil. Sounds smokey..
