Off the top of my head, exhaust pipe and silencer, horn, windscreen wiper, doors/louvres on the bonnet sides. Lights, or lamp irons, pipe work, grab handles. Vacuum pipes if it will haul passenger stock.

If I think of any more I'll add them.

Well Mr Cock up is only ever a few seconds away and my drill through the footplate was a mis measurement and came through in front of the bonnet. Bit of L angle with rivets has covered the hole and might help secure the bonnet without the need for magnets.

Settled on a rear hand rail to carry the re- railers but not so good for the ghostly chains, box on the front?

I had to look at the second picture twice as I thought that was a 5" ride on loco!

Thanks Tom. I like the way it stands on its toes and gives a real narrow gauge look. Must add the exhaust!

There is an exhaust moulding that is cab mounted that would probably be the right height to gas the driver. It isn't the best of the castings so may have to resort to trying to build something, again I quite like the cab mounting idea but may depend on my pipe bending skills!

Whilst waiting for my battery holders my eyes turned to the kit of parts that will hopefully become a type C wagon body. The lovely basswood planks were a price too cheap to not buy when committed to a postage charge. I will try individual planks first to see what we get. There are also some runners for the sliding door on the shed ( don't tell Philip)

Fell in love with a lean to shed in Somerset yesterday, corrugated roof and brick piers....the limited brain cells are already planning...

Electrics "wired" And working we took a trip to the riverside with a few tippers. The hearse, as she as affectionately been nicknamed by the staff, caused some drastic pruning of the dogwood to make the descent. There was an altercation with the rhododendron but it's a brave man who trims that when Mrs B is in the vicinity. The roof needed a little subterfuge to fit due to the "squareness" of the castings but is nicely riveted with nail art. Just need to get the dirty stick out now to beat it up a little.

Seemed a shame not to use that spare shed end. Split it down the middle and hey presto a little bothy/shelter. The sides might be lined with scored ply as they will be visible. The width will depend on the corrugated offcuts I have being a tightfisted old so and so.
