I love the shed scene - a lovely building and very characterful fleet of locos...

Cheers,

Andrew

A diesel open day to celebrate 32 years of weddedness, or I had to clear the bench to make a mini wall.
Congratulations Derek & Mrs Bazzer :blob2: :blob3: :blob4: :blob5: :blob7: :blob8: :occasion7: :occasion7:

Thanks Rod. Celebrated in style - Sally did works payroll and I wrapped six bridges and a box for Preston! (On its way at last) Managed this far on a back wall complete with a peephole carved by apprentice Ken so he can keep a crafty eye out whilst having an unofficial fag break

Quiet day avoiding summer traffic. Finished the lean to shelter, not without some mild cursing after a seat too high incident. I also managed to finish my first brake tipper wagon started last Christmas. So far back I can't remember what number it should be.....that will teach me.....possibly

Great little shelter that Derek, won’t be long before the spiders webs are in there, just like they do for real…. :thumbright:

To hot for me too for track laying…now it’s throwing it down and we have the grandsons this weekend too.. :( :( Still we may be able to take them out somewhere dry…

Lovely bit of modelling. Leaves on the line seem to be a bit of a problem though. :)

Spiders I can live with but leaves  The wysteria has 3 seasons and four this weather...shed blossom, shed shells of blossom and shed leaves and shed leaves in hot weather.

Hoovered last Sunday but high winds forecast no point at the moment.

Spiders and other insects are fine. When we bought our house there were several cherry blossom trees nearby. At times the garden looked like it was covered with pink snow! Strangely most of them have gone so we don't see it as often.

Looking great Derek, I love your take on 7/8ths - it really works in your garden setting.

Don't feel bad about taking ages to finish projects, I have wagon kits from years ago that are still unfinished for one reason or another!

Really like the colour of the corrugated roof.

I know what you mean Derek, we have a Weeping Willow and unfortunately we can’t get around it’s flipping leaves dropping every day, but hopefully they won’t give us too much trouble….especially if the landlord will let us cut most of the branches off…..

Nothing a willow likes than a heavy pruning.....this had all its 8 to 10 inch thick branches cut off 4 years ago....careful where you put your off cuts as they will shoot as well!
