Very nice! I really like the log load, and the securing chain...

Do they run well? I'll probably build some for my line quite soon - I wasn't sure how well they'd run with the long fixed coupling?

Thanks for the picture,

Andrew.

They run well. The logs do not move longitudinally because of this spikes in the bottom of the cradle.

The drawbar has elongated holes at each end to handle some movement between the wagons.

Nice looking logging trucks. I expect the Drawbar is just there for the ride when loaded. Provided the logs are no longer than the coaches you use there should be planty of clearance for curves.

Your line is looking good Kjell. Are you expecting snow soon?

Just come across your thread and wow what a line. The locos and rolling stock are excellent. I love the way you go about that absolutely brilliant weathering you achieve.

The RH Billy is just a dream to drive isn't it.

February 18 - 2021

The Pine Hill Railway is closed due to heavy winterstorm.
I think the railway is somewhere under that white stuff. :)

Fantastic photos!

I love the telegraph poles and signal poking out from the snow - and the trestle looks superb!
