I've never had a problem with your pictures before Kjell, but now I can only see the ones on your first two pages of this thread. From 4th Feb 2013 onwards, it just says image.
The ones I CAN see are not on your Dropbox account, so have you recently moved stuff over to it?

I can see them. The latest one was very slow to load, though.Reminds me of those old dial-up modem days .....

Well I can see them and they are already loaded.
Great picture on your last post Kjell. Love those bogies with the logs.

Good to see summer has reached the Pine Hill Railway. I've always liked Roundhouse Billys. Looks like new growth on your Yew tree (?)
Re: The Pine Hill Railway (PHRy) - a Norwegian Garden Railway
What a great photo, your railway is looking good! Like the telegraph poles, keep thinking I ought to install a few!

I'd love to do the same, but have always been concerned about the poles rotting out at ground level..

Here is a video of the Pine Hill Railway.
Video made for me by a railway friend: Petter Nyborg - Harrikolan Railways.
Enjoy it!

I really did enjoy the video Kjel. There is so much going on, I have watched it twice and I bet there is still things I missed. I love the waterfall and the Fjord
Your friend Petter is a brilliant cameraman and he as produced a video that's a joy to watch.
Looking forward to some more perhaps in the winter when you have some snow

Excellent!! I really enjoyed that Kjell. I think it's the first time I've seen the whole of your railway. As Rod says, there are so many fascinating details. I really like the mine and the trestle and everything fits together so well.

In addition to what everyone else has said, I quite like the way you've laid out your passing loops and sidings, especially given the tight space. The way it's all laid out looks very organic, much like prototype narrow gauge trackwork.

Agreed with others. I've watched that latest video 3 or 4 times now and it doesn't get old. Beautiful scenics and attention to detail. A question for you, if I may. What radius are your curves that you had difficulty running your Brandbright 4-wheel coaches on that you converted them to bogies?

February 2023
A new wagon with heavy load (Tungt vann = D2O = deuteriumoxyd) for my Pine Hill Railway (PHRy).
A Swift Sixteen Tanker wagon kit heavily weathered. Due to the heavy load the wagon is fitted with bogies instead of the kit original 4-wheel arrangement.

That looks really great. Kjell. Really subtle weathering and I love the Viking longship. Is that your own design or based on the real thing?

I'm having a problem with the picture, Kjel. All I see on your post is the word " image " and it isn't a link or anything. Using my mod facilities I went into edit mode and discovered that the picture is in your Dropbox and by inputting the URL directly into Firefox it opened straight away. I don't know whether it is the permissions set in Dropbox or something in my Firefox or BitDefender that is stopping it being recognised as valid.
Anyway, lovely wagon. I do like the lettering and weathering.

I think most of you will see the image. Maybe it is about the browser.
Anyway - the wiking ship logo on the tanker wagon is the authentic and historic logo of «Norsk Hydro».
Norsk Hydro was making «tungt vann» (heavy water) during WWII in a small town Rjukan in Norway. And the heavy water was «maybe» shiped abroad with tanker wagons like my model.
Here is a link to the story about the heavy water production in Norway ...
