Thanks for that will,

Ive been bored so have come up with a " Background" Story to the Morcombe Light Railway..

The line is owned and operated by a group of voulenteers eager to preserve this " Unique" railway. At current there is one loco and they run passenger stock on special occasions to paying public. The line was laid to be able to transport goods around the farm, but now derilict.

Thats about all i got

So your line's a bit like the North Ings Light Railway. For more information here's their website.

Hope it'll give you some insperation.

yes and the plan has now been rethought! a 9 meter up and down with a siding on the wall infront of the house as that way i dont need to climb down a rather threatning bank !

Sounds great. So what track have you ordered, and how much?

Also, what layout have you got in mind?
