Again, not been following this thread (like the MHLR extension) but the plans seem great! The pics at the top of this page look awfully familiar to the work I carried out on the Fairfield Railway, up here in the North West!

I look forward to seeing how it goes! It seems this summer is (so far) going to be better than the last, so hopefully progress will be swift!

No railway work yet, but

The BGLR has just placed an order for a Penrhyn Hunslet by Roundhouse Engineering of Doncaster.
The loco will be in black, and of course, 32mm gauge
She will come in Penrhyn style BUT with a tender, a new cab back will be made, and with luck should end up looking like this, before it was reprofiled, and still had a bit of a cab back

Ay, should make a very nice model :) I wish I had the money to spend on a Penrhyn Hunslet...oh well.
