LMAO, I BET!!!! I think if you just lay the mortar, you can also spread yoghurt on it once set, and that gets it growing...

Well, I did a video as promised. Still too cold to run live steamers though... :( Oh well. I finished off the tunnel too, and had a play...

Too cold for a steamer??? I'm tempted to call you a poof Pete (though I shan't, it'd be cruel). It's looking fantastic, you must be really proud :) .

LMFAO!! Nah, as I had sour hands from sliding those sodding poxy little rail joiners, I didnt want to wreck them even more in the freezing cold and snow (yeah, I tried to snow) by faffing with caps n stuff! lol I will do soon though when the weather pics up. It's terribly windy today...

Cheers, I am proud of it :D

You should be ashamed with yourself, too cold? I steamed Gwydion at jool's yesterday, it was so windy that the stock kept on getting blown over  , but we kept going for an hour
Seriously though, the MHLR looks a brilliant railway, congrats on getting it finished and its good to see it already looks pretty with a few rocks and plants. I just look forward to seeing the whole effect with Ben Ben standing proudly at the head of the first steam hauled MHLR train

Ah, dont worry, Ben Ben will be out soon enough! :D
LMAO, before I made that vid, I had to right the stock behind Columbine! I looked at the forcast, doesnt look too pretty for the next few days, but hopefully be able to get BB out soon... and Columbine. May even steam both at same time, and get some proper action!

Well, as today we had a nice dry sunny morning (not for long!), I went out and planted my plants! Created a slate wall/fence by the tunnel entrance, and sprinkled tree bark on the exposed soil (to keep weeds down (says my dad!)...

Nice collection of plants, in about a years time they should look great :D Plants tend to look better when they have spread together
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."
