Great to see you have a running line again. Look forward to seeing it develop.

You have a line to run on, that's all that matters.

You've not wasted any time, Rod. Looks like you're up and running already.

Excellent work. I could use a son-in-law! Must see about getting one. You have somewhere to run trains now Rod. Looks great so far.

You make that sound so easy..... I have two grown-up sons but no in-laws. My elder son would only be keen on one who was heiress to a brewery and had her own fleet of vintage tractors, which she restored and maintained herself.... see, easy!

Thanks for your replies guys. It was a case of getting someone to do most of it for me, or us not having one finished until at least the end of the year, possibly even longer. But on the health side I am feeling positive, just need to take my time and rest every now and again.

It wasn’t that easy to get the Son-in-law Peter, honest. Anne had to bribe him with offers of Bud’s and plenty of Burgers…

I am now doing mostly rolling stock and building, but hopefully I can get to run something and maybe do some more on the track it self Graham.

Unfortunately Derek, he has now gone back abroad with his cycling job until the end of September and then he plans on having a holiday with his family.
But I can always ask…. :thumbleft: :thumbleft:

Well, I am so thankful to the Son-in-Law Rik, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to do a lot on it without his help.

Wishful thinking Peter. I have two grown up daughters, but no sons in-law!

Always tongue in cheek Rod, reckon I'll get by! Got a train fix yesterday as we trudged up a cloudy Snowdon, actually getting the train tomorrow but not building my hopes up to see anything....again...
