Re: North Avenue Line
so while I wait for part to turn up for the lighthouse from far off lands (china if you ever find something you want on e bay keep looking you may find it on ebay but from china and it will be a lot cheaper you just have to wait a few weeks) so while looking at my box of plasticard iv got a load of bits a pieces lots of leftovers etc etc .I went to the model shop and bought some more sheets and started building a rather big model this will eventually be the steel works .

Re: North Avenue Line
That is an amazing collection of odds and ends Jim, you are a brave man to put them together that way and make it work.... but you have succeeded in doing so and I am sure it will be most convincing when it's finished.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?
Re: North Avenue Line
That's an amazing use of leftovers and oddments. I shall be interested to see the finished building.

Re: North Avenue Line
That's crying out for rust and grime....go for it...
Re: North Avenue Line
Yes defiantly going to have some rust and grime .it's going to be on legs so trains can pass underneath. And some lighting too.its a very big model.

Re: North Avenue Line
It's great how you just grab bits and go for it. I fuss too much and spend ages pondering!
Re: North Avenue Line
Going to be another brilliant big build out of bits and bobs. Rusty too…..

Re: North Avenue Line
Starting to look good Jim, weathering is an art that I have yet to master. It is surprising the effects you get by wiping and washing off weathering.
Re: North Avenue Line
It’s looking very good so far Jim.

It does look tired Jim, need "House Restoration" from CH4 around......
Nice tiles Jim, must have taken some time to cut and put them on...
