Well done Julie (and Dennis!) you have moved forward in this beautiful weather, the pond is looking great.
The final picture shows what magnificent scenery we are lucky enough to live in...... can't help but be inspired.

Wow! That looks like some serious civil engineering. Very impressive. Are they planting holes in the sides of the cliffs?

Looking interesting. Can't wait to see how this develops. I can't quite see the relationship between the position of the filter box, the pond and, you mentioned a stream?

Wow Julie and Dennis, you certainly don't do things by half. That will be some pond and stream. I don't think I will post anything about our "Little Pond"

And that view is amazing...Can I live there please....

The holes in the cliff are supposed to be for plants, but I have put two solar lamps there for now until I get some plants.
The photo of the filter box didn’t show the set up properly, I have taken some more pics of what it is like now, I think they will explain the set up more clearly.
Looking at the preview of the first pic now, I realised that I should have done a different angle to show a better pic. Never mind there will be more :D

You can see how it works now Julie. It will be a very impressive pond and stream.

I do love your station and the platform. Was it scratch built?

The railway station, platform and some of the houses I was lucky enough to purchase second hand a few years ago Rod. They are made by Cain Howley Structures

Ahh Cain. Peter has said when we were going to go to Llanfair last year, (Unfortunately we couldn't get there) that I would need to be prepared to go home with some of his buildings....

They are mightily impressive buildings...

Your line is coming on well Julie. The butterfly is a Peacock. Haven't seen one where I live for many years.

I see you have quite a steep slope to work with. It adds to the work but will be quite impressive.

You probably have a patch of nettles nearby. The Peacock (and other butterflies) like to lay the eggs on young nettles. We see them every year. Perhaps because we are somewhat south. Towards Pembrookshire is milder too.

Just got caught up with all your progress. Beautiful Merlin live steamer, btw if you need parts or help, Simon over at Anything Narrow Gauge is pretty sharp when it comes to the old Merlin locos. Once you have them running good they usually will. I might have missed it, did you get the pressure gauge working? Many times its just some hard deposits in the bottom of the loop of copper line running from the boiler to the gauge. Modern 2.4ghz radio and one of the palm size transmitters makes running steam much more enjoyable than the old twin stick style radios. I have an RCS system but there are others. I use the same transmitter for my live steam and my battery electric locos. I so wish we had the nice selection of UK style railway buildings in the states that you do in the UK. Keep up the great work! Mike
