Hey Grant, I have ran robin pretty much every week since I got it but the RHS ring desperately needs replacement for it to run again.

I like the busy shed scene.

I'm guessing you didn't have any hands free for photography while you were double-heading two manual locos - one of them a Mamod?! Sounds fun though...

Good to see "Robin" back in steam. How does "Goblin" run? I had an MSS years ago, but gave up on getting it to work and sold it on.
Love the running shed too. One of these days I'll have to build one like it.

Hey Aaron, Goblin goes well enough for a tablet fired mamod, normally half a lap on my line before she runs out of fire.

Thanks for all the Compliments folks.

Hey All, sorry for the lack of postings, working a part time job and having a car + Volunteering at two railways has taken up a lot of my time for running Steam trains in my garden lately, All the locos are performing well, the porter is due to be converted to Battery Power very soon by a friend of mine for use on the CCT .

Good to hear from you, Mitch. I like the way one of your reasons we haven't heard from you is "having a car ...." I can somehow see how owning a car can be time consuming ... Certainly my first couple of cars proved to be very time consuming as I must have spent more time repairing them than driving them .....

Nice engines, those Porters.

Hey all. been a good few months since ive updated .
The trackwork in the cutting is being reworked as the foundations are being relaid.
I have gotten my Bachmann Porter Converted to Battery Power by a friend of mine.

Good to hear from you Mitch. The newer Lyn is far better than the original version which was under-powered. The new one also includes a chuff cam as standard which is a useful feature if you intend using a soundcard.

Hey All, Apollogies for being so long between postings, a fair bit has been happening on the line as of late.

#1 a Accucraft Mabel has ordered and is due for delivery very soon, will be manually controlled and a 0-6-0, gotta work out a name for it now ;)

#2 the track has seen some improvements and the biggest work will be commencing shortly with the releveling of the trestle bridge.

#3 Two Battery Powered Locos have Joined the fleet, a Bachmann Porter that i have mentioned in the past has been converted to battery around 12 months ago, and a Bachmann Lyn 2-4-2 (newer Run) has also been converted.

Will post more shortly once mabel and the bridge are completed.

The SP car is a scratch built unit with a mix of marine steam products adapted to conventional rail use. it’s a mighty fine machine and runs superbly well.

I wanted to know if you had a thread about it on the forum, or something else on the internet somewhere. It looks very interesting, and impressive! :thumbright: :thumbright:

Unfortunately no thread on this forum at all to my knowledge, it belongs to a friend of mine and I believe he is planning to put one up at some point.
